Before the year ends,
look at what changed.

A tax return tells the story of a year that has already happened. Planning gives us time to talk while there are still decisions ahead.
You do not need to arrive with a perfectly organized spreadsheet or know which tax rule applies. Start with what changed: a new job, a growing business, a home sale, retirement income, or a year that simply looks different from the last one.
Start with the whole picture.
A useful planning conversation begins with income so far, what you expect before year-end, and the taxes you have already paid through withholding or estimated payments. From there, we can discuss the questions that matter to your situation.
For a business owner, that also means current, completed bookkeeping. A clear profit-and-loss report gives us a more useful starting point than a bank balance alone.
Bring the decision, not just the paperwork.
Are you considering a retirement withdrawal? Did you sell an investment? Are you thinking about equipment for the business? Tell me what you are considering before you act. We can discuss the tax implications alongside your cash needs and other goals.
A potential deduction is only one part of a decision. It is worth understanding the full cost and whether the move makes sense for you.
Use the tools as a starting point.
The Resources page has tax brackets, deduction figures and a document guide. They can help you get oriented, but a bracket chart does not calculate your whole return. Credits, different types of income and eligibility rules can change the result.
Leave time for the next step.
If you want help before December 31, book a one-hour Tax Guidance Session or Business Consultation. If your membership includes planning meetings, let us get your next conversation on the calendar.
We will work through your questions and identify what is worth doing next, with time to follow through.
General education, not individualized tax advice. Decisions and deadlines depend on your circumstances.
